Our Brew Hops team made a pit stop in Sanford, FL, for a production meeting at Sanford Home Brew Shop, Community Brewhouse, nestled in the heart of the downtown Historic District. This gem boasts an impressive array of on-site crafted beers and provides a comprehensive selection for home brewing enthusiasts.
From beginner-friendly brew kits to larger-scale production items, Sanford Home Brew Shop has everything you need to embark on your beer-making journey. Interestingly, some of Florida’s best local breweries, including several right here in downtown Sanford, started with their classes.
Beyond beer, they offer on-site classes covering cider, mead, wine, and even crafting your cheese at home. If you’re a Craft Beer & Micro Brewery enthusiast, this spot is a must-visit. Explore their monthly classes or events to enrich your brewing knowledge.
During our visit, we enjoyed sampling various local beers, including the Wakatu Wheat SMaSH, an American Wheat with a delightful 5.3% ABV. The 0.5oz taster left us savoring the delicious notes of this Smash Wheat Beer.
